About Old Pals

Off Leash Dog Park Alliance of Stockton (Old Pals) is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 for the purpose of promoting recreational opportunities for Stockton area dog owners and their companion animals. Old Pals is a subcommittee of Animal Protection League, formerly Stockton Animal Shelter Friends.

The purpose of Old Pals is to support the City of Stockton Department of Parks and Recreation by raising funds and providing volunteer support to improve and maintain the three city dog parks. Barkleyville Dog Park on Feather River Drive near March Lane, Michael Faklis on Consumnes Drive near Trinity Parkway, and Weston Ranch Dog Park at Ishi Goto St. and E W S Woods Blvd. And to provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment in which pet dogs can exercise off leash.

OLD PALS GOALS

  • Improve and maintain the City of Stockton's exisiting Dog Parks
  • Work to increase the number and quality of dog parks in our local community
  • Educate on responsible dog ownership practices
